These terms cover your use of Locara, a commute-first job board. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Locara.
Locara helps job seekers find jobs based on commute time and helps employers post and manage job listings. Some listings come directly from employers using Locara; others are aggregated from third-party job sources. We do our best to keep listings accurate and current, but we can't guarantee every detail (pay, hours, location) is exact or that a listing is still open — always confirm details with the employer.
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. You need to provide accurate information when creating an account or posting a listing, and you can't impersonate another person or company.
Locara is a tool to help you find and apply to jobs — we aren't a party to any employment relationship you enter into as a result of using it, and we don't guarantee you'll be hired for any job you apply to.
If you post listings as an employer, you're responsible for the accuracy of what you post and for complying with applicable employment and advertising laws. We reserve the right to remove listings that are inaccurate, misleading, discriminatory, or otherwise violate these terms.
Paid plans (listing credits, Premium subscriptions, and sponsored listing placement) are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can manage or cancel a subscription at any time from your employer billing settings. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
Don't use Locara to post fraudulent or illegal listings, scrape or misuse other users' data, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or violate anyone else's rights. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Locara is provided "as is." Commute times, traffic estimates, and take-home pay estimates shown on the site are estimates based on third-party data and simplified assumptions — they're meant to help you compare options, not as guarantees of actual travel time or take-home pay. The take-home pay calculator specifically is an estimate only and not tax advice; consult a tax professional for anything that matters financially.
To the extent permitted by law, Locara isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including decisions made based on listings, commute estimates, or pay estimates shown here.
We may update these terms as Locara changes. If we make a significant change, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
